Indians reduce roster by seven additional players

The Cleveland Indians today announced the club has reduced their spring training roster by seven (7) additional players.

This morning, the Indians optioned RHP Jeanmar Gomez, RHP Hector Rondon, CA Carlos Santana and OF Jordan Brown to AAA Columbus and INF Carlos Rivero and OF Nick Weglarz to AA Akron. Also, INF Beau Mills was reassigned to minor league camp.

Currently there are now 48 players in Major League camp in Goodyear, AZ.
